Periodic tests are conducted to assess the ingenuity and studious nature of student. It also promotes healthy competition among students and helps them to be aware of their own shortcomings and failures in their study habits.
Holding on to these principles, we conduct three Mid Term examinations and three terminal examinations. One must not absent oneself from any of these examinations except when prevented by reason of health, in which case a medical certificate may be submitted in advance. These tests cannot be deferred or anticipated to suit individual convenience. No re – examination will be conducted in any subject. Absence from or failure in a subject excludes a student from being reckoned for the order or merit.
Any kind of malpractice in the tests, attempted or intended by any student is punishable with suspension or expulsion from the tests or from school according to the offence and at the discretion of the principal.
The norms of promotion are fixed as per timely directions received from the department of education. Promotion from one class to the other is decided on the basis of the performance in the examinations, satisfactory completion of all assignments and 90% attendance. A pupil should possess reading, writing and speaking skills.
The results of the Mid – Term and Terminal examinations will be given to the parents in the report card, while the final result of the academic year on promotion or detention will be published in the school.
Students who could not study the subjects in English medium and students failing twice or thrice in different standards will have to leave the school. The decision of the management shall be final in this regard.
Transfer certificates will not be issued without an application from the parent. T.C should be collected only by the parent in person from the principal.
Applications for the withdrawal of a pupil should be submitted in writing to the principal at least one month before the date of withdrawal or a month’s fee will be charged in lieu of the notice.
A transfer certificate or any other certificate will be issued only if all school dues have been paid and library books and school items taken on loan returned.
Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or defiance of authority, malpractice in examinations, lack of sufficient improvement in conduct and studies even after warnings or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school are sufficient reason for the dismissal of a student.
The TEXTS and NOTES should be maintained properly and the same should be brought to the class for the concerned periods. In case of absentees, the notes during the days of absence should be first completed before they go to the current.
